OSS are proud to support and sponsor Evelyn Field.
Evelyn is a keen racing cyclist on the road, track and time-trials.
For the 2023 season she will be moving up from a youth rider to the junior category.
When she’s not training, racing or cycling for pleasure, she can be found sketching, reading and studying for her exams.
More recently Evelyn has been clocking up plenty of miles in the van, traveling up & down the country for the National Circuit Series & the British Women’s Team Cup. Both of these series involve racing against Senior Elite riders so they are a big step up from the local circuit scene.

Evelyn is supported by JRC – Equality in Sport. They are one of the UK’s only cycling teams dedicated exclusively to junior women’s bike racing.
Started by James Roberts and Claire Whitworth the team was born from a desire to create and deliver an environment of equality, empowerment, resilience and success through women’s cycling.
The profile of women’s cycling has made great steps forward in recent times. However, progress is slow and we are a long way from equality of opportunity, participation and recognition. The team aims to compete at the highest level of junior bike racing while sharing inspirational personal stories of success, failure and, most importantly, progression. They passionately believe that these stories will transcend sport and help break down barriers to equality of opportunity and female success.
The team is aiming for maximum impact and hopes to be a catalyst for change in British cycling. Their ambition is to help take youth and junior women’s cycling to the next level and remove barriers to participation which prevent many young women from discovering and enjoying this amazing sport.
